Merdeka.com – The National Commission for Post-Immunization Adverse Events (Komnas KIPI) and the Banten KIPI Komda have completed an investigation into the cause of death of a resident named Joko Susanto (33). The father of two children died on Wednesday (23/6), after eight days of being hospitalized due to illness after receiving the first dose of the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine on Tuesday (15/6).
Komnas KIPI chairman Prof Hindra Irawan Satari said the results of an audit conducted by Komnas KIPI and Komda KIPI Banten did not find a link between the cause of Joko Susanto’s death and vaccination. According to him, the results of the investigation found that Joko Susanto had died from a stroke.
“Not related to immunization. (The result of stroke),” said Hindra when confirmed by merdeka.com.
According to Hindra, the screening process is still in effect before the resident is injected with the vaccine. However, he said, although the screening method used sometimes still passes, vaccination does not aggravate patients who have the disease.
“Screening is a screening method, of course there are still those who pass, but even if there is a history of disease, vaccination will not aggravate the disease. The disease is not aggravated by vaccination, but if not controlled it can be fatal, not because of the vaccination but by the disease itself ,” he said.
Residents Died Allegedly After Vaccination
Previously, it was reported that Joko Susanto (33), a resident of RT03/03, Pinang District, Tangerang City, Banten, died on Wednesday (23/6) afternoon. Joko died exactly eight days after receiving the Covid-19 vaccination on Tuesday (15/6).

After being injected with the vaccine, they returned home to rest. Daughter did not feel any symptoms. But it’s different with my husband.
“He said (after the vaccine was injected) he didn’t feel it. But when he got home he coughed a lot, until that night he couldn’t sleep. There was a fever too, his body was hot,” explained Putri.
Seeing Joko’s condition, Putri and her family decided to take her to a doctor for examination. When visiting the Kunciran Baru Health Center, the Puskesmas could not provide treatment for full reasons.
“I asked for a referral, said the Puskesmas at that time, it’s okay. Because my husband looks strong, even though he was weak at that time,” explained the mother of Adeva (5) and Aqila (10).
Not satisfied with the explanation from the puskesmas, Putri and her family intended to take Joko to a private hospital. But God had other plans. Joko died on the way to a private hospital.
“From the non-reactive antibody swab, if the PCR has not come out. My husband died when he just entered the car with a heart pump, and the hospital said he died at 16.00 WIB in the afternoon,” he said.
For this incident, Putri and her family believed that the departure of Joko, her husband, was due to the Sinovac vaccine. Because when the vaccine dose was injected, Joko’s tension was high.
“My question is why 160 were vaccinated. At that time, my husband also asked the officers but they said yes. Yes, we believe it. But after that, the husband’s condition with cough and fever worsened and he died,” said Putri.

“Let this be a lesson to all. I don’t want to blame, I don’t blame. But the government must take responsibility for this incident,” he explained.
