“The accident occurred on Jalan Bukit Jaya, Setu District, South Tangerang City. However, on January 4, the person concerned was declared dead,” Rusdi said in a press conference on March 26, 2021.

Elwira was born on May 9, 1983. He was once involved in the disclosure of a narcotics smuggling case involving a Malaysian national, Chong Kim Tian alias Gery. He was currently serving in the Special Task Force Criminal Investigation Agency The National Police, along with other members, arrested Chong Kim Tian.

Information on Elwira’s death was disclosed by the Head of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency, Commissioner General Agus Andrianto. “During the case title, I received information that one of the MD reported (died) due to an accident,” he told Tempo on March 25, 2021.

The National Police also ensured that the investigation of the unlawful killing case would continue in a professional and transparent manner. Even though one of the three reported members has died.

“To maintain accountability, there are still three reported parties. The investigation process is still ongoing,” said Rusdi.

Six FPI troops guarding Rizieq Shihab were shot dead by police on the Cikampek Kilometer 50 toll road on Monday morning, December 7, 2020 at around 00.30 WIB. The National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) then conducted an investigation and found that there was an allegation unlawful killing in the case of the shooting that occurred at the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 toll road.

Following up on Komnas HAM’s findings, the police appointed three members Polda Metro Jaya as a reporter in the incident unlawful killing in the shooting case of the FPI paramilitary army.
