Coming from a Rich Family
This 62-year-old man comes from a wealthy family. His grandfather was the founder of a luxury furniture retailer in 1930 whose business was continued by his father, Stanley Lewis.
The furniture company was then pledged to buy shares in the Foschini Group in the 1980s. The clothing retailer then grew rapidly, has more than 3,000 store branches, and is now headquartered in Parow, South Africa.
The giant retail business is now held by Michael Lewis. He has served as chairman of the Foschini Group since 2015.
Second Marriage to Lady Kitty Spencer
Marriage with Lady Kitty Spencer was the second for Michael Lewis. In 1985, he married Leola Lewis, but ended in divorce. From his previous marriage, the man who now lives in England is blessed with three children.
