In Oakville, Ontario is the great Jacobean-style country mansion, listed as the most luxurious and expensive in the country. The mega property has its own name, it’s called: Chelster Hall.

Chelster Hall has enough space to provide comfort for the whole family, it is equipped with six bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and 30 parking spaces. On Lake Ontario on Oakville’s ‘Gold Coast’ sits the 43,850-square-foot property that, while at first glance it may appear to be built in the 19th century, was actually only completed in 2006.

It was designed by local architect William Hicks, who was inspired by the historic houses of England, specifically the Jacobean architecture of Blickling Hall, where Anne Boleyn was born.

The luxurious mansion features a grand foyer, with a beautiful wooden spiral staircase and a two-story library, on the main floor, the dining room is equipped with a 16-seat table, a chandelier, and a beautiful molded fireplace. Upstairs, five luxurious bedrooms await you with private en-suite bathrooms and spacious closets.

Aside from the standard bedrooms, foyers, chandeliers, and fireplaces, the home features an elevator, indoor and outdoor pool, full fitness center, and spa. There is also a Tuscan cellar large enough to store Château’s 7,000 bottles of so-and-so.

As if that wasn’t enough, at Chelster Hall there is a separate 800-square-foot chapel located on the property, complete with benches and crosses.

The property has excellent entertainment facilities:
- Full movie theater,
- Pool’s room,
- Gym,
- a bowling alley in the basement, and
- tennis court.

The mansion had a starting price of $ 65 million in 2016, but has dropped by $ 7 million over the years.
