Xiaomi literally means ‘little rice’. Apart from Xiaomi, another name that often appears in its mobile phone brand is Mi. Lei Jun also explained the special meaning of the Mi.
The first is the abbreviation for Mobile Internet because this company will be working as an internet-connected mobile device company.
The second meaning according to him is Mission Impossible. That’s because the company will try to carry out various missions that are considered impossible.
