The Ministry of Health reported this Friday that 18 states will be orange and 14 will remain red from the epidemiological traffic light, which projects the risk of COVID-19 in the nation.
The list of states that will be at a traffic light orange They are: Aguascalientes, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Coahuila, Durango, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Michoacán, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Yucatan and Zacatecas.
Red: Baja California, Colima, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Morelos, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tabasco and Tlaxcala.
These traffic light colors will apply from June 29 to July 5.
For a passing state to change color, these factors are taken into account: percentage of hospital occupancy, trend of hospitalized cases, trend of cases of COVID-syndrome and percentage of positivity.
