KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Investment Alert Task Force released the latest list of fraudulent investments in September 2020. At least 32 illegal investments were included in the list. The 32 illegal investments were suspected of carrying out business activities without permission from the competent authorities.
These entities are considered to have the potential to harm society by committing fraud by offering extremely high and unreasonable returns.
“Apart from that, there are also many activities that duplicate licensed entity websites so that it looks as if the website belongs to a licensed entity,” said the Chairman of SWI, Tongam L. Tobing in a press release, Friday (25/9/2020).
One of the closed entities is the Alimama Indonesia application (almm.qdhtml.net) which has recently been busy for allegedly committing fraud using the method of raising funds to get a shopping bonus.
In more detail, this is a list of 32 illegal entities handled by the Investment Alert Task Force.
