High school student who pregnant and miscarriage after being raped by a nurse at the Jombang Hospital, he was traumatized. In the near future, the police will check the victim’s mental condition.
“Trauma must exist. Because children that age who are still in school have been pregnant and miscarried,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jombang Police AKP Teguh Setiawan when confirmed by detikcom, Saturday (5/6/2021).
In addition, continued Teguh, the victim also experienced mental stress after nurse who impregnated him was thrown in prison. “Actually, it’s hard for the perpetrator to be detained, after all he is his girlfriend. Because the perpetrator’s actions according to the law are wrong and were carried out on minors, like it or not, we will continue to process it,” he explained.
He explained that the victim currently lives with his parents in Peterongan District, Jombang. The 12th grade student is still continuing her education.
In the near future, his party will examine the mentality of the 17-year-old girl. So that the victim can undergo trauma healing.
“We will definitely take the child victim to a psychiatrist to have his mental condition checked. Maybe next week we will do it,” he added.
DDS (31) had an affair with the victim for the past year. The bachelor, a resident of Kabuh, Jombang, promised to marry the high school student so that the victim was willing to be invited to do it intercourse.
During dating, DDS admitted that he only had sex with the victim 6 times. The underage girl was pregnant until miscarriage. The victim finally complained to his parents. The victim’s father reported DDS to the Jombang Police because he never married his daughter.
The nurse at the Central ICU at the Jombang Hospital was arrested by the police on May 31. That same day he was detained at the Jombang Police Detention Center to account for his actions.
DDS is suspected under Article 81 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection. A maximum sentence of 15 years in prison awaits him.
