This is how to check whether the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan membership is active or not

KONTAN.CO.ID – Private workers with salaries below IDR 5 million will receive IDR 600,000 per month in assistance from the government.

The Rp. 600 thousand assistance is a direct cash assistance as a stimulus to increase purchasing power and prevent an economic recession. The Rp. 600 thousand assistance is called the Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU).

The plan is that the Rp. 600 thousand assistance will be given four times. The corona assistance will be immediately given every two months to the account of each worker so that there will be no abuse.

So, each employee will receive two transfers from the government with a nominal value of IDR 1.2 million. In total, each employee will receive corona assistance of Rp. 2.4 million.

Meanwhile, data on salary subsidy recipients is taken from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BP Jamsostek) data with a time limit for data collection until June 30, 2020. So, how do you check whether BPJS Ketenagakerjaan membership is active or not?

How to check BPJS Ketenagakerjaan membership

1. Via the BPJSTK Mobile application

• Participants must download the BPJSTK Mobile application on Android, iOS and BlackBerry.
• After downloading, participants must register first to get a PIN.
• Requirements for registration on the BPJSTK Mobile application include KPJ Number (on the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan card), NIK e-KTP, date of birth, and name.
• After registered and logged in, participants can find out the membership status of BPJAMSOSTEK.
• Then select “Digital Card”.
• After the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan digital card display appears, click on the display, the bottom part will show the BPJS TK membership status (active / inactive).

2. Via website

How to check membership status and balance can be done via the https://sso.bpjsketenagakerjaan.go.id/ page. If you have not registered on that page, you can register by:

a. Go to https://sso.bpjsketenagakerjaan.go.id/.

b. Select the registration menu.

c. Fill in the form according to the data.

• Active KPJ Number
• Name
• Date of birth
• E-KTP number
• Mother’s name
• Mobile number and email.
• When successful, you will get a PIN.
• The PIN is sent via email and SMS from the registered mobile number.
