This is how the White House explains the president’s fall

It went really wrong when President Joe Biden was to board Air Force One on Friday afternoon. The Democrat first stumbled once, then again, before stepping on the snout a third time on his way up the stairs.

After finally getting up all the steps, the president greeted, and the 78-year-old seemed to be unharmed after the incident. The White House is now commenting on the president’s clumsy behavior.

– There is a lot of wind. I almost fell on the way up the stairs myself, says assistant press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre aboard Air Force One.

Wiggled ankle

She emphasizes that Biden was not injured during the incident.

– It goes 100 percent well with him, assures Jean-Pierre.

The reporters on board Air Force One then asked if the 78-year-old, who is the oldest US president of all time, had been supervised by a doctor.

– The only thing I know is that he is doing well. He’s doing very well, the press secretary replied.

Shortly afterwards, Kate Bedingfield, head of communications at the White House, confirmed that Biden was fine and said he did not need medical attention.

– I am happy to announce that he is fine and do not even need help from the medical team that travels with him. Nothing more than stumbling on the stairs, Bedingfield writes on Twitter.

As late as November Biden wiggled his ankle after playing with the dog Major. The president had to walk on crutches for a period after the accident.

Trump jr. responds

After hearing the White House explanation, Donald Trump jr. to dye. He took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the accident.

– Do not worry that the President of the United States is so weak that he was blown over by a gust of wind. Nothing to worry about, guys! writes the Republican sarcastically.

Trump junior also shared a manipulated video that comes with an alternative explanation for why Biden stumbled.
