The series “Die Nanny” is probably one of the most popular of the nineties and is still cult today. Fran Drescher as “Fran Fine” and Charles Shaughnessy as “Mr. Sheffield ”in the lead roles.
Together, the two are also among the most beautiful series couples of all time. But what does the attractive “Mr. Sheffield ”cast today? Charles George Patrick Shaughnessy, 5th Baron Shaughnessy, as his full name is called, was born on February 9, 1955 in London.

It is no surprise that the now 65-year-old would stand in front of the camera, because the Brit was born into a family of actors. His father is a well-known screenwriter, his mother an actress. Even in elementary school, Charles played in several theater productions.
Charles Shaughnessy made his international breakthrough in 1993 in his role as the charming Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield in “The Nanny”. Until 1999 he played on the side of Fran Drescher in a total of 145 episodes.
