In Gdansk, Poland, the unofficial World Cup breakdance took place on Saturday evening, with the best breakdancers in the world. The Belgian colors were represented by Maxime ‘Madmax’ Blieck, but she already fell in the eighth finals. Blieck had to compete against the Russian Vavi, and the jury decided in favor of the Russian. She then made it to the final, which she lost to the American Logistx.
Blieck finished second last year, and was disappointed that there was no more this year. “It didn’t go as planned, I was very nervous,” Madmax said afterwards. “I really want to win the world final. It’s the coolest competition out there. And it will come anyway. I want that belt suits for Belgium.’
