When Justin Turner arrived at the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2014, Asian pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu already had a year in that club. Immediately, they both made a great friendship, even though the Korean did not speak English very well.
In total it was six years together with Dodgers until when a few days ago Ryu was signed by the Toronto Blue Jays and then Turner lost a great friend and said goodbye to him this Friday afternoon via social networks.
Really gonna miss the guy, one of my all time favorites. Thank you @ HyunJinRyu99 for all the good times. I’m glad I got to see you hit that first homer before you went to the American League !!! pic.twitter.com/YqHJXfqFXr

Turner expressed in that message:
I’m really going to miss the guy, one of my all time favorites. Thank you Hyun Jin Ryu for all the good times. I’m glad to see you hit that first home run before you went to the American League! “
Turner will now have to find a new pitcher friend with Dodgers and Ryu another new position player friend in Toronto.
But yes, Ryu surely has in mind several sets that Turner made while he pitched both at Dodger Stadium and at any stadium.
