The Valencia City Council collects some requests of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, such as limiting the capacity of the beaches or reinforcing surveillance and cleaning, in addition to informing all recommendations through the signage. The Generalitat also recommends that the different consistories use the new technologies to be able to control how many people there are at any time.

Other municipalities of the Community are already working on plans similar to that of the Valencia City Council for the reopening of the beaches in phase 2. The Alicante City Council also plans to delimit the spaces and reserve some areas of sand next to the water to facilitate the circulation of people. In Dénia, from June 20 the beaches will be divided into three strips, with specific uses to be made in each of them. They will also be installed informative sign and the footbaths and play areas will be closed. The President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, already advanced in late April that the objective for this summer was to be able to guarantee the safety of the beaches this summer.
