PT Toyota Astra Motor confirmed that it would bring three brand at the exhibition in Tangerang. This Japanese brand will occupy one of the largest booths covering an area of ​​3,000 square meters.

There will be presented a range of Toyota, Gazoo Racing, and Lexus products, as well as a variety of sophisticated technology offerings from various vehicle segments.

At this exhibition, it is reported that Toyota will launch the bZ4x electric car which will become the official vehicle for the G20 Summit in Bali.

In addition, the next product to look forward to is the Innova hybrid. This MPV will reportedly get major changes, including using platform TNGA and FWD drive system.

Then Toyota’s next new product is the GR 86 sports car. Previously, it was widely reported that this car was ready to launch in 2022.

It is strongly suspected that PT Honda Prospect Motor will launch the Honda WR-V, an SUV based on the Honda Jazz which is sold in India.

When viewed from a design perspective, the shape is similar to the RS Concept SUV which is often exhibited in various stores event. If it is true that the WR-V will enter Indonesia, it will likely be in the Segment B SUV.

In this segment, this new car will meet with 1,500 cc engine SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and the Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Terios duo.

Interestingly, the relatively compact proportions of the WR-V’s body can also interfere with the Toyota Raize and Daihatsu Rocky segments that play in the A Segment SUV with smaller engines.

Other predictions include two KIA SUVs, namely the Sorento with hybrid technology and the Sportage which was a surprise ahead of JAW 2022.

Not only launching new cars, at the GIIAS event, KIA will also introduce the first electrified car in the Indonesian automotive market.
