BlackBerry officially discontinued support for the BlackBerry OS operating system as of January 4, 2022.
Starting today, Wednesday (5/1/2022) launching from Between, mobile phones that use the BlackBerry 10 operating system, BlackBerry 7.1 and other versions that appeared earlier can no longer be used to communicate, including making calls, sending SMS and calling the 911 emergency phone number.

Software for tablets, BlackBerry OS 2.1 and earlier versions also suffer the same fate.
Apart from not being able to make calls and send SMS, the function of connecting to the internet via cellular data and WiFi also doesn’t work.
Other BlackBerry services also no longer work after January 4th, namely BlackBerry email addresses, BlackBerry Link, BlackBerry Desktop Manager, BlackBerry Blend and BlackBerry Protect.
This Canadian company last released the BlackBerry 10 operating system in 2013, after that there were no updates.
