The house was used as a public swimming pool. However, the pool was no longer operational.

The house is inhabited by four women, including a land owner named Hadiyanti (60). Apart from Hadiyanti, the three other residents are her children and grandchildren named Ana Melinda Munir (30), April (5), and Dinda (3).

The occupant of the house, Hadiyanti, had to go through the two concrete walls to leave the house. They also made three steps as stairs to pass through the concrete wall.

The stepping through the first concrete walls was a simple wooden ladder. The second and third steps are plastic benches, which are placed on either side of the second concrete wall.

Previously, a viral video showed the closure of access to people’s homes in Ciledug, Tangerang. The occupants of the house were forced to use a ladder to climb the fence.

Kapolsek Ciledug Police Commissioner Wisnu Wardana said the closure of access to residents’ houses was due to land dispute issues. The police asked residents to prioritize mediation.

“The problem of land disputes has been reported to the Tangkot Police. It is still in process until now,” said Wisnu when contacted, Saturday (13/3/2021).

“We from the Police have mediated the parties, but have not found common ground,” he said.
