This has never happened, and now again. New Patch For Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Broke Facial Animations

It looks like the latest update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (v1.011) contains a rather annoying bug. The above update focuses on fixing a huge number of (relatively minor) issues, but somehow it also managed to break the game’s facial animation system.

For the first time, they started talking about the problem in Redditand now this same thread is full of people saying they are facing the same error. Players complain that they are constantly bumping into NPCs who are unable to move their lips during a conversation. They just stand and stare into Eyvor’s soul as words fill the air. All of this is terribly annoying and ruins the experience of the gameplay.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is already facing a fair amount of technical issues, and while many of those issues have been fixed in the past couple of months, new bugs are the last thing an open world adventure needs. Hopefully this will be fixed quickly.
