French Electronic Duo NORD NOIR Blends Beats with Borderland poetics

Calais and Lille, France – The electronic music group NORD NOIR is generating buzz with a unique fusion of driving soundscapes and politically charged lyrics, culminating in upcoming performances at Le Channel in Calais on November 14 and Espace culture at the University of Lille on December 10. The duo’s work explores themes of identity and confinement, resonating with current debates surrounding migration and national boundaries.

NORD NOIR distinguishes itself by pairing immersive electronic production with lyrics that directly confront social issues. Their December 10 performance,organized by the Poet cellar,is part of a thematic evening titled “borders” (north // black + velvet 808 x wolf blaster),highlighting the group’s commitment to artistic and political engagement.
