Third person killed by lightning in Washington is identified

The third death victim of a lightning strike that struck a tree in Lafayette Park had not been identified, but the Washington police already knew the name

A 29-year-old man who was in a Washington park when lightning struck a tree has been identified by DC police.

The weather incident that happened last Thursday and in which three people died also left a woman in critical condition.

The first people to be identified were two elderly people who were visiting the capital of the United States as a tourist. James Mueller, 76, and Donna Mueller, 75, were celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary.

the third man, Brooks Lambertson29 years old, Was identified by the Washington DC police as the Vice President of City National Bank of Los Angeles, reported CBS News.

Lambertson had previously served as marketing manager for the LA Clippers NBA franchise, and was in Washington, DC, on business.

“Brooks was an incredible young man who will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and unwavering positivity”the bank said.

The fourth person who is hospitalized has not yet been identified, his condition is critical and since last Friday there have been no updates regarding his health.
