“We are just getting started. Hopefully, when the figures are available, they can be submitted immediately,” said Arry, Friday (6/8).
Arry added, the third dose of vaccination is currently only given to health workers as well as health support personnel who previously received the first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“In total, there are 30,660 doses of modern vaccine allocated. For health workers who serve COVID-19 patients, this is sufficient,” said Arry.
The dose is estimated to be sufficient for health workers in West Sumatra because the amount has been adjusted. He estimates the number of health workers and health support personnel in West Sumatra is more than 31,000.
According to Ary, there are several health workers who cannot be vaccinated for certain reasons. Meanwhile, those who receive the booster vaccine must receive the vaccine twice.
“So it has started to be carried out in M Djamil, in the city district, it is being processed. When, it depends on the readiness of each region because it is also racing with the second dose of vaccination,” Arry added.
