Symbolic since it registered the day before the Constitutional Council renders its decision on the subject of the bill which should extend the health pass from August 9, the demonstration – whose meeting was given on the place de la Liberty, at 8 p.m. – gathered no less than 200 people. It is more than last Wednesday when we thought the movement was a little weakened.

The crowd pounding the pavement chanting “Freedom! »Is sociologically rather varied: there are yellow vests, great regulars of demonstrations since the fall of 2018, but also caregivers already seen on the gatherings of Metz who refuse the vaccination obligation imposed on them, or parents of pupils wind standing against the mask in school or vaccination of children. Despite the somewhat late hour, some young people still accompany their elders. And then there was Didier and his wife, retired, who took to the streets for the first time on this subject but supported the cause from the start.
