According to Francisco Jason López Vargas, student of the eighth semester of FMUAC and organizer of congress, This year’s theme was raised by raising awareness among health specialists about the increase in infectious diseases and the importance of their prevention..

One of the topics to be addressed within the theme of congress is he coronavirus, respiratory infection that ignited worldwide alerts due to its rapid spread from its home country of China and that so far it has 24 thousand 363 confirmed cases, according to the Hubei Provisional Health Commission.
The conference that will address this virus will be given by Edgar Pérez Barragán, an internist-infectologist in Mexico City and it will explain how the current epidemiology is, according to new studies.
