They try to find the whereabouts of a man who murdered a Puerto Rican in Orlando

Orlando – The Orlando Police have not found the clue of Daniel Everett, who was manager of the Under Armor store at the Orlando International Premium Outlets and who after being fired on Monday returned to the establishment and shot Eunice Marie Vázquez, of Puerto Rican origin.

At the moment, the authorities provided photos of the suspect, as well as an image of a vehicle similar to the one he used to flee the mall after the events. The request of the police is to let them know if they see it, but not to approach it.

Meanwhile, and at the request of the news media, the establishment’s management regretted what happened and said it will not make additional expressions.

“We are deeply sad about the tragic event that took place (on Monday), and that the Orlando Police Department believes it was an isolated incident inside the store that involved a recently dismissed store employee. As this remains a Police matter in progress, all additional inquiries should be directed to the Orlando Police Department, “the company said in written statements.

It is the policy of the police authorities not to disclose details of the ethnic origin of people involved in events like this. It was not until last night, when the victim’s brother – William Vázquez – posted on his Facebook page that Eunice Marie Vázquez was her sister and that she was Puerto Rican.

El Nuevo Día requested an interview with William Vázquez, who lives in Sarasota (two hours west of Orlando), but at the moment there was no response.

The preliminary investigation by the authorities indicated that on Monday morning, Everett – 46, was fired, but returned hours later armed and fatally shot at the Puerto Rican. The man had been fired after several employee complaints about his performance as a supervisor, Orlando Police said.

It turned out that the suspect had also prepared a list with the names of other store employees and who had allegedly complained about his work as a manager. Everett sent such a list via email to those employees in a gesture that the authorities interpreted as a threat. Therefore, the Police contacted the people on that list to record that they were well.

Everett was not found at his residence located in Lake Nona near the Orlando International Airport.
