Authorities are looking for two minors from California who have disappeared after meeting a man they met online and who are believed to be in Arizona.
Sisters Abilgale Arres, 14, and Hattie Arres, 16, are with a young man in his 25s who traveled from an unknown location to Riverside County, where the minors reside, and picked them up there.
“Their family members have reason to believe that they may be traveling from California, with reports that they may be in Arizona at this time possibly attempting to enter Mexico through an international crossing,” reported the Cochise County Police Department.
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office is working closely with other members of the Arizona Border Sheriff and various authorities in California to track down the girls.
Authorities are calling on those with information about the sisters to contact the Cochise County Police Department at 520-432-9500 or any local authority.
