They search for a suspect in shooting two men in a subway bound for Manhattan – Telemundo New York (47)

The search continued Saturday morning for the gunman allegedly responsible for shooting two people overnight in a subway traveling between the Bronx and Manhattan.

Police said the victims, both in their 20s, were shot while riding a southbound Line 4 train before it stopped at a Harlem subway station.

The first shots were fired around 12:15 am, against a 21-year-old man who sustained gunshot wounds to the leg and both arms. The other shot was a 22-year-old boy in the stomach. Both are expected to survive.

Police said the victims and the suspect started an argument while standing on a subway platform that continued toward the line 4 train. It was aboard the moving train that the alleged gunman opened fire.

Investigators closed the scene of the events in the 125th street subway station. Here they found seven bullet casings on the train, police sources told our sister chain News 4.

Detectives continued their inspection of the area until early morning, including searching for any potential surveillance video that may have caught the suspect before he fled the station.
