They rescue the crew of a sailboat that had been shipwrecked for four days on the coast of Baja California – El Sol de Tijuana

Rosarito.- This Sunday three crew members of a boat were rescued after being shipwrecked for four days off the coast of Baja California.

The crew members threw flares to request help, a situation that was captured by lifeguards from the municipality of Playas de Rosarito, near the Las Rocas hotel.

Edgar Joaquin, 31, Yahir Romero, 17, and Mario Munguia, 35, said they set sail from the port of Ensenada but an engine malfunction left them shipwrecked on the high seas for four days, until this Sunday the current brought them closer to the coast.

The three received medical attention by Red Cross personnel and were transferred to a hospital for assessment.
