Santo Domingo.- The National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), released the urban singer Jesús Jiménez, known as Ultra Mega Chemist, after being arrested for inciting in his songs the use of controlled substances.
The 26-year-old artist was arrested during an event at the Spiral nightclub in the Colonial Zone.
Ultra Mega chemist was released after agreeing with the authorities not to promote drug use again.
It is not the first time that the urban singer incurs in these practices, since he has repeatedly been called to attention for his musical themes.
Jesús Jiménez was born in the Isabelita sector, consolidating his career in 2014 and standing out in rap and other genres such as dembow and reggaeton.
