They present a new million-dollar plan to reduce commuting time for commuters traveling from Connecticut to the city.
The Connecticut governor made the announcement Monday.
He points out that the project aims to reduce travel time to New York by up to 25 minutes, by 2035.
The plan will cost between $ 8,000 and $ 10 billion.
Much of that plan depends on the approval of a federal infrastructure law.
This comes as the Metro-North returns eight trains to the New Haven line.
Commuter train service is increasing as the region emerges from the pandemic.
