NEW YORK – New York City Police are investigating the discovery of a body wrapped in a black bag in a Brooklyn neighborhood, authorities said.
The uniformed officer is working to find information on how the body, still unidentified, ended up near Van Sinderen Avenue and Herkimer Street.
Authorities say someone was walking after 12:00 p.m. Saturday and found the body in the neighborhood of Cypress Hills.
The person observed that the “black bag was shaped like a person” on a sidewalk.
Details are limited as the department continues its investigation.
