“They have a terrible situation there”: the expert explained why the occupiers are concentrating forces on the Kherson region and Zaporozhye

The Russians began to transfer their forces to the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions in order to report at least some success to the dictator of the Russian Federation Putin, who sent them to Ukraine.

Ukraine began to effectively influence HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems on their ammunition depots, artillery, command posts, logistics, etc., so for Russians the situation is very negative.

This was stated by the director of the New Geopolitics Research Network Mikhail Samus in an interview RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, the Russian army began to lose initiative in the Donbass. And in the south of Ukraine, they generally have a situation where their grouping in the Krivoy Rog and Kherson directions, on the western bank of the Dnieper, is actually already surrounded.

“Their bridges have been destroyed there. If they cannot effectively carry out logistics, the supply of personnel and ammunition, then in fact they are already surrounded. That is, they have a way out: either surrender, or continue to come up with something,” Samus explained .

The specialist clarified that the occupiers have not coped with Putin’s political task to occupy the Donbass at any cost.

“They did not cope with this task, but now they are forced to transfer forces to the Kherson direction, because the situation there is generally terrible and they are trying to somehow get out of this situation. But I think that the result will be even worse, because it will be taken into even more Russian troops were captured and destroyed,” the expert noted.

At the same time, he believes that the Russians will not succeed in anything in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, because they no longer have additional forces.

“The generals of the Russian Federation cannot report to Putin that they are moving away from Kherson. This is theoretically impossible for them, in any case, until they announce a “goodwill gesture”, as was the case with Serpentine. They also seemed to be unable to leave Serpentine The same thing happened with Kyiv and the Kyiv region, they could not even theoretically imagine a retreat, but retreated, because there was no way out anymore, they are trying to overturn reinforcements there in order to try to go on the offensive in the Krivoy Rog direction, possibly in the Nikolaev direction and break the situation that the Ukrainian army has now formed,” Samus added.

Recall in the Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine knocked out an enemy tank and captured two soldiers.
