They found a baby boy in the Náchod babybox. He was given a special name

On Saturday morning, they found a baby boy in a baby box at a hospital in Náchod. He was given the unusual name Ambrose (Czech Ambrož).

The founder of baby boxes, Ludvík Hess, explained the reason why he named it that way on Facebook. “The babybox installed with serial number 21 was set up on February 6, 2009 for the birthday of the donor Hanička Hornochová, a single mother in Prague. The Náchod box was waiting for her first child for eleven years. .

The boy is healthy at first glance, weighs 3,500 grams and measures 50 centimeters. His mother dressed him and tied his umbilical cord with a weaver.

“Hanička was the first person to call the news about the found boy and I must say that she was unhappy and very happy,” Hess revealed. Ambrose is already the 212th postponed baby since the establishment of baby boxes in the Czech Republic and the 13th only this year.

Someone has used the Náchod babybox for the first time since its establishment. Hess therefore decided to have a new generation baby box installed at the local hospital. “Ambrose adjusted the score of girls versus boys to 115: 97,” he concluded.
