Nacional Seguros, Sudamericana Corredores y Asesores de Seguros and the Benefy App launch the first 100% digital pet insurance, what offers veterinary care and life insurance for the person responsible for the insured dogs or cats.

“This strategic alliance between Nacional Vida, Sudamericana and App Benefy puts on the market today the first 100% digital insurance for pets, which can be purchased exclusively from App Benefy, with the support of Sudamericana and the protection of Nacional Seguros, which in this way continues to innovate the Bolivian market ”, highlights Jorge Hugo Parada, general manager of Nacional Seguros.

“Customers only need to download the Benefy App, free of charge, from their IOS or Android device, and they will be one click away from having the best insurance for their pets, be they dogs or cats,” says Gustavo Pestana, Partner and Country Manager of Benefy.

Insurance benefits

This innovative pet safe, in force in Santa Cruz, La Paz and Cochabamba, it contemplates two remote veterinary consultations per month; face-to-face veterinary care due to illness, for pets with up-to-date vaccinations; Y booster vaccination for pets older than 1 year.
What’s more, includes life insurance for the person responsible for the pet (insured owner). In the event that the pet owner dies from any cause, the person chosen as beneficiary receives Bs 10,000.

Digital accident insurance

The benefits of this 100% digital insurance are the coverage of medical expenses for personal accidents for the insured holder, up to Bs 10,000 through reimbursement; Unlimited medical consultations through calls or video calls with a general practitioner, for the insured holder and their dependents in the first degree (spouse, children and / or parents) and 20% discount on medicines up to Bs 250 per month, for the insured holder and their dependents, in the Farmacorp network.

In the event that the insured holder dies due to an accident, the person chosen as beneficiary receives Bs 70,000. If the death of the owner is for any other cause, the beneficiary receives Bs 1,000.

What is App Benefy?

App Benefy is a complete application, free to download, developed for the IOS and Android operating systems. Clients and non-clients of both companies will be able to access the Benefy APP, which has the objective of having the best offers from businesses and create a connection platform with the end customer throughout Latin America. This venture, which was born in Bolivia, already has operations in two other countries: Guatemala and El Salvador.
