They bless the animals of “Christmas Spectacular”

Cardinal Timothy Dolan blesses the animals of the “Living Nativity Scene” before he enters New York’s Radio City Music Hall for his first day of rehearsal.

The cardinal welcomed the camel, the sheep and the donkey that this year will perform in the production of “Christmas Spectacular” with Radio City Rockettes.

The prelate was encouraged to say a few words in Spanish.

“We are here with all the animals … the living principle.”

This year the show includes a new scene called “Dance of the Frost Fairies”, something akin to the ice fairy dance.

The reinvented number of texts transforms the Rockettes into fantastic winged fairies and features fairy drones dancing above the audience.

With its stunning visual effects, audiences will be transported to a winter wonderland.

The new season of “Christmas Spectacular” opens on November 18th.

Tickets are already on sale on the site which is on the screen and at the box office of Radio City.
