They are changing the movement in the center of Sofia due to the inauguration of the President – Bulgaria

V A temporary organization of the movement in the center of Sofia is introduced in connection with the official inauguration ceremony for the second term of President Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Yotova, the press center of Sofia Municipality reported, quoted by BTA.

From 08.00 on January 21 until the end of the event today is allowed the stay and parking of the television equipment of BNT on the southwestern arch of St. Alexander Nevsky Square.

From 22.00 on January 21 until the end of the event today stays and parking are prohibited

of road vehicles, with the exception of cars engaged in the ceremony of the parking lots on St. Alexander Nevsky Square and Nikolai Gyaurov Square.

From 07.00 to 12.30 today the entry of vehicles in both directions is prohibited

on Oborishte Street between GS Rakovski Street and Vasil Levski Blvd., on 15th of November Street between Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. and St. Alexander Nevski Square, on 11th of August Street between Vrabcha Street and Oborishte Street, on Dunav Street between Oborishte Street and Vrabcha Street and on Paris Street between Orabishte Street. Citizens will have access to the event after 09:45

through three checkpoints – at Shipka and Paris streets, at GS Rakovski Street and Oborishte Street and at the south side of the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

The employees of NSO will carry out inspections for objects and substances on the grounds of art. 30, para. 1 of the NSO Act. Citizens will be checked with metal detectors and scanners for the presence of firearms and melee weapons, sharp objects, explosives and flammable substances, sources of ionizing radiation, pyrotechnics and others.

Citizens carrying bulky luggage will not be admitted to the event.

Access for visibly inadequate persons will also be restricted.

From 08:00 to 13:00 a ban on the use of drones in the area of ​​the event is introduced in order to limit the risks for those present from unwanted incidents, according to the NSO.
