RIYADH, KOMPAS.TV – Saudi Arabia went on a rampage after their leader, King Salman, was labeled a terrorist by Hezbollah.
They also say that the Iran-backed Lebanese movement poses a threat to Arab countries.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Beriut, Waleed Bukhari, Thursday (6/1/2022).
“Riyadh hopes that political parties will prioritize Lebanon’s highest interests, and end Hezbollah’s terrorist hegemony over every aspect of the country,” he said. Times of Israel.

“Hezbollah’s terrorist activities and the attitude of their regional military are a threat to the national security of Arab countries,” he said.
Bukhari’s remarks came after Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, described King Salman as a terrorist.
He accused Saudi Arabia of importing Islamic extremists during a speech on TV earlier this week.
The two sides have been at loggerheads after the Saudis intervened to prop up the Yemeni government against Iran-backed rebels in 2015.
Last month, Hezbollah rejected Saudi Arabia’s claim that it was aiding an offensive by Yemen’s Houthi rebels.
