Next January 18, TF1 will broadcast the new season of The Voice. The program returns for a ninth edition with some changes. If Nikos Aliagas remains the conductor (supported at the time of the direct by Karine Ferri), the four coaches of the past season will leave their place to other personalities of French song. Exit Jenifer, Mika, Julien Clerc, Soprano and welcome to Lara Fabian, Amel Bent, Marc Lavoine and Pascal Obispo.

The two singers have known each other for decades and their relationship has not always been good. “Pascal Obispo, I’ve known him for a long time … We haven’t always had a good time together … He knows it and I know it. Some rules will change

This ninth season will be the renewal of The Voice. The goal is clear: “Find the spirit of the first seasons,” ITV Studios program director Matthieu Grelier told Puremedias.

There will therefore be fewer candidates (14 candidates per coach against 18 the previous season). The era of talent theft is over, the blocking is maintained, as are the Battles broadcast before the knockouts … Necessary changes and perhaps pay to recover in terms of audiences. Season 8 had the worst score in the history of the program …
