These stocks were heavily traded abroad when IHSG declined on Thursday (22/10)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the red zone on Thursday trading (22/10). The JCI was recorded to have fallen 0.09% or fell 4.63 points to the position of 5,091,816.

During trading, JCI was in the red zone with the lowest level of 5,063,697 and the highest level of 5,093,825.

Citing RTI data, seven out of 10 sectors fell. The sectors that fell the most, among others, the mining sector was cut 1.01%, the plantation sector fell 1.01% and the consumer goods sector fell 0.68%.

Meanwhile, the three sectors that strengthened were the basic industrial sector, which rose 0.96%, the infrastructure sector rose 0.20% and the financial sector rose 0.12%.

The total volume of shares trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange reached 14.68 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 9.35 trillion. A total of 264 stocks fell, 147 stocks rose and 180 stocks were stagnant.

Foreign investors posted net sell or net sales of Rp. 262.45 billion in all markets. However, a number of these shares are widely collected by foreigners.

Foreigners are noted to collect a lot of shares in PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) Rp. 99.7 billion. BBRI shares rose 1.86% to Rp 3,300 at the close of trading. BBRI’s total share trading volume reached 164.3 million with a transaction value of IDR 537.7 billion.

Foreigners are also hunting for shares of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) Rp. 97.8 billion. ASII’s shares closed flat at Rp 5,250 per share. The total trading volume of ASII’s shares reached 77 million with a transaction value of IDR 404 billion.

Shares of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP) also collected by foreigners of IDR 58.1 billion. INTP’s shares also closed up 2.68% to Rp 12,450 per share. The total trading volume of INTP’s shares reached 8.6 million with a transaction value of IDR 106.2 billion.
