These circles are taking back corona easing – SWR news

More and more districts in Baden-Württemberg are exceeding the incidences of 50 or 100. This means that they have to withdraw the first easing of the corona measures. Which municipalities and districts are currently affected?

In some urban and rural districts in Baden-Württemberg, stricter rules have been announced or have already been issued due to the increasing number of corona infections. An overview.

For three days in a row, the incidence values in the Göppingen district rose to over 100 – which is why stricter corona rules apply there from Friday. The district office announced that only one other person who does not live in the household may be added to a household. The retail trade has to close again, with the exception of the so-called click-and-collect. Museums and galleries also have to close. Medically necessary treatments and hairdressing are still allowed, but body-hugging services such as massages are prohibited. School and daycare operations should not be restricted. The Federal Armed Forces will again support the health department to follow up contacts.

In the Emmendingen district, stricter corona rules are effective immediately. Sports facilities, museums as well as zoological and botanical gardens have to close again. The retail trade is no longer allowed to open even after prior appointment. Body-hugging services, such as visits to cosmetic or massage studios, are also prohibited. This does not apply to hairdressers and barbershops.

In the Hohenlohe district, stricter regulations come into force again from Tuesday. For example, extended contact restrictions apply. In addition, the retail trade must close completely, and must not open to customers with an appointment. The district office points out, however, that there are no night exit restrictions.

Eleven counties with an incidence over 100

Nationwide, eleven urban and rural districts had more than 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week on Monday: Alb-Danube district (110.1), Emmendingen district (103.4), Esslingen district (102.8), Freudenstadt district (114.2), district of Göppingen (111.6), Hohenlohe district (105.6), district of Rastatt (127.5), district of Schwäbisch Hall (208.9), district of Sigmaringen (100.1), district of Tuttlingen (100 , 2) and the city district of Mannheim (116.2).

From Thursday, March 18, stricter rules will apply in the Freudenstadt district. Five people from a maximum of two households are allowed to meet. The retail trade is only allowed to offer “Click-and-Meet” or “Click-and-Collect”. Music and art schools have to close again. Relaxations for outdoor and indoor sports are also being withdrawn. Stricter rules also apply when visiting zoological and botanical gardens. Hardware stores, flower shops, garden markets and centers, bookshops, hairdressers as well as cosmetic, nail, piercing and tattoo studios will remain open. “I very much regret this development, but unfortunately the Corona regulation leaves us no choice but to take back the easing steps that came into force last Monday,” said District Administrator Micheal Rückert in a statement on Tuesday.

In addition to the districts that have already announced measures, this also affects the Esslingen and Tuttlingen districts, as well as the city of Karlsruhe. There, however, the threshold of 100 has not yet been exceeded for three days in a row, on Monday it was again below the 100 mark. The city of Karlsruhe wants to decide on a further course of action on Tuesday together with the district of the same name. The goal is a common path, said Mayor Frank Mentrup (SPD), as the district virtually encompasses the city and many commuters cross the borders every day. Different rules are not very helpful. Stricter measures should apply from Thursday at the earliest. Since the city was above the 100 incidence for two days in a row, the Karlsruhe Zoo has already stopped ticket sales as a precaution.

Mannheim also exceeded the seven-day incidence value of 100 for three days in a row. According to the ordinance of the state of Baden-Württemberg, stricter corona rules apply from Tuesday. Private meetings are then only allowed with one person from another household, museums and libraries remain closed and relaxation in popular sport is also withdrawn. For example, the Mannheim Kunsthalle will have to close again on Tuesday. It was only open for less than a week. “Click & Meet” is also no longer possible, ie a shop visit after prior registration.

The Rhein-Neckar district will also tighten the corona rules again from Wednesday. Among other things, appointment shopping is once again the order of the day in retail. Museums, galleries, zoos and botanical gardens can only be visited with prior booking.
Low-contact recreational sport is only allowed with a maximum of five people from two households. Music and art schools also have to close again.

In Rastatt, the seven-day incidence is currently 132 per 100,000 inhabitants. Here, too, the contact restrictions will be tightened from Tuesday, museums will be closed and retailers will only be allowed to offer “Click & Collect”.

In the Alb-Donau district, the rules will be tightened again from Wednesday. In the retail sector, for example, the “Click and Collect” ordering and collection principle applies again.

In Baden-Baden, the incidence was over 50 for three days in a row, and retailers will probably have to switch to appointment shopping here. The retail trade is still open in Pforzheim, but the numbers are also increasing here.

Shops in the Calw district will also have to close again from this Monday and are only allowed to let in customers who have registered in advance. Here, too, the reason is that the incidence value has exceeded 50 for three consecutive days. District Administrator Helmut Riegger (CDU) criticizes the regulation. The pure incidence values should not be decisive for easing, but this overall situation. The small-scale retail trade is not the cause of the increasing numbers of infections, said the district administrator.

In the city and district of Heilbronn, more than 50 easings are being withdrawn due to incidences. In the district of Heilbronn, shops will no longer be open regularly from Tuesday. Customers have to make appointments.

Due to the increasing number of infections – but at a significantly lower level – the Tübingen district also has to pull back on easing. Because the seven-day incidence per 100,000 inhabitants was over 35 for three days in a row, easing in the area of private contacts will be withdrawn from this Tuesday.

Sigmaringen speaks of clusters

In the district of Sigmaringen, the incidence has been over 100 for four consecutive days. Nevertheless, a decision was made against appropriate measures on Monday afternoon and said: “The reason is a definable outbreak in a communal accommodation for refugees, which makes a significant contribution to the infection process.”

The corona rules in the country have been a little looser since Monday: Restrictions for meeting friends and for the retail trade are partly no longer applicable. However, some changes depend on the incidence.
