As a candidate of The Masked Singer you don’t want one thing, and that’s going to end up in the sing-off. But with so few candidates in the race, it is almost inevitable not to finish in the last three. Tonight that was unfortunately the case for the Butterfly and the Chameleon. Despite their beautiful voices, the audience was harsh: these two candidates have to take off their masks.

The butterfly
For a long time it remained guesswork about the real name of the Butterfly, but it is none other than GTSTstar Babette van Veen. The hints were clear and all panel members agreed: the Butterfly must be Babette. Panel member Buddy is very happy that his television mother is participating in this adventure. Babette herself had not thought she would get that far.

The Chameleon
She is an unparalleled singer, but just before the final she is voted out anyway. She herself is still a bit upset about it. Samantha Steenwijk had the honor of performing as a Kameleon for weeks in The Masked Singer. The panel was unanimous and all voted for Samantha.

In tonight’s episode, John van den Heuvel and Kees van der Spek made an unexpected appearance. They put all candidates to the test.
