This season, again fifteen unrecognizable famous Dutch people are singing against each other. They take on the role of Monkey, Astronaut, Llama, Fox, Yeti, Panther, King, Chameleon, Skeleton, Butterfly, Firebird, Zebra, Neptune, Mouse and Dinosaur.
The teams Gerard Joling and Buddy Vedder, and Carlo Boszhard and Loretta Schrijver again try to find out the identities of the characters. Ruben Nicolai is again the presenter of duty. The audience in the room again votes for its favorite. The singer with the fewest points leaves the program and reveals his identity.
The first season of The Masked Singer, based on a South Korean format, last year attracted an average of 1.6 million viewers. Tania Kross, dressed as a robot, won the series. You can see below why it was such a great success.
