This Monday, June 27, vaccination against COVID-19 will begin in Mexico City for children between five and 11 yearswhich will in turn be divided into age subgroups as pediatric vaccines become available.
The Government of Mexico City announced that the first subgroup to inoculate will be that of children who are between 11 years old or about to turn 11, as well as those who reach 12 years of age in the following days. That is, born between June 27, 2010 and December 31, 2011.
During the next week, information regarding the second dose for youth between 12 and 14 years of age will be released, as well as the following subgroups of children under 11 years of age.
Among the requirements that are requested are:
Vaccination record
Birth certificate or ID showing date of birth
An adult as a companion, relative or guardian. Adults can accompany more than one child
Respect designated dates
Regarding the locations, Eduardo Clark, director of Digital Government of the CDMX, reported that there will be 39 vaccination locations, and each mayor’s office will have at least two.
