These are the Oneplus founder’s new wireless headphones – Ear One

After several months of hype, Oneplus founder Carl Pei’s new startup Nothing has unveiled its first product: the Ear One wireless headphones.

In a statement, Carl Pei himself describes the headphones as: “A fresh breath in a cramped and smooth market”, reports The Verge.

Ear One are designed with transparent plastic and equipped with 11.6 mm drivers, active noise reduction and are water resistant according to IPX4 certification. Swedish Teenage Engineering is behind both hardware and software.

Battery life is said to be up to 5.7 hours or 34 hours along with charging case if active noise reduction is turned off. Headphones can be charged wirelessly via Qi charger or wired via usb-c.

Ear One will go on sale next month and a limited edition will go on sale as early as July 31 via Nothing’s website. Price is 99 euros, corresponding to about 1000 kronor.
