The Public Health Commission has defined the first groups of high-risk patients who will be vaccinated first:
– People with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (leukemias, lymphomas and myelomas).
– Solid organ transplant (kidneys, liver, heart, pancreas or lungs) and those who are on the waiting list for it.
– Patients on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, oncohematological disease.
– Solid organ cancer being treated with cytotoxic chemotherapy.

All of them, regardless of their age, they will be vaccinated in group 7 of the vaccination strategy in which people between 70 and 79 years old are placed. For now, the communities are still vaccinating the upper tier, 80 years and older, and they will be the next.
The Public Health Commission has also approved the update of the “Prevention, hygiene and health promotion measures against COVID-19 for cuniversity entrances in the 2020-2021 academic year “, whose objective is to reinforce ventilation recommendations, correct use of masks and limit the concentrations of people in face-to-face activities such as exams.
