There’s a new trailer for “Batman”

This is one of the most anticipated premieres in recent months. Everyone is closely watching how the production of the Batman movie is progressing. Especially since Robert Pattinson will wear a bat-man costume for the first time.

A while back, Pattinson commented on the great fan reception of the first shot of the set, which featured him in a Batman costume. “There are so few things in life that people get excited about before they get to them. You can almost feel the anticipation, and it energizes. It’s completely different from playing a role that probably won’t be seen by anyone,” she said.

The biggest sensation, however Colin Farrell turned out to be the Penguin. Anyway, it is his metamorphosis that illustrates most of the materials related to production abroad. Some even were sure that he was not the famous Irishman, but Richard Kind – an American actor known for his roles in, among others “Stargate”, “Operation Argo”, “Sharkado 2: The Second Bite” and the series: “The Perfect Wife” or “Gotham”.

In the film, apart from Pattison, we will also see the title roleZoë Kravitz as Catwoman. By creating a comic book character, she will join the ranks of actresses such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry and Anne Hathaway. “Batman”, directed by Matt Reeves, will hit theaters on June 25, 2021. Reeves, the creator of the last two hit sequels “Planet of the Apes”, took over the directing duties of Ben Affleck in 2017, after the premiere of “Justice League”.

Apart from Pattinson and Kravitz, the cast of the film also includes, among others, Paul Dano (Riddler), Colin Farrell (Penguin), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon), Andy Serkis (Alfred) and Peter Sarsgaard (prosecutor Gil Colson).

As the director announced earlier the movie will not be an adaptation of “Batman: Year One”. “We don’t do any comics,” Reeves admitted. – Although it’s one of many comics that I love, we definitely do not adapt it – he added. – It is exciting to focus on a story that is very personal to him. Of course, we’re not making origins or anything like that. We make a story and try to tell a story that is emotional. And what it really says is that Batman is the greatest detective in the world, which made me love this character – explained the director.
