Only 1 hammer for breaking windows had a coffin in the bus, learned “24 hours” from participants in the investigation. Exactly this tool was used by one of the survivors – Lulzim Suleymani, to break the rear window of the bus, owned by the Macedonian travel company Besa Trans.
Each bus must have at least 4 hammers for emergency breaking of windows. They are located on the windows on both sides of the second seats behind the driver, as well as the penultimate seats on the flight. There are also the easiest to break glasses. Different manufacturers can put additional hammers over 4.
In the case of the ill-fated bus, investigators found only a hammer used by Suleimani. He was outside the machine. At first they suggested that the other 3 tools may have burned out. However, the inspection did not reveal any pieces of metal that resembled the shape of iron hammered into a hammer.

However, an eyewitness said that he saw the flight burning before the crash. The leading version that additional fuel was ignited in the machine, which ignited, remains. After the autopsies, it became clear that there were no casualties from the crash. Soot was found in the throats and tracheas of the victims, which means that they were breathing when the fire broke out.
In addition to the seven who escaped through the windows, an eighth man escaped after a coffin was transferred from the bus to another of the other 4 flights during the break about 20 minutes before the accident. Asked by 24 Chasa, Besa Trans initially declined to comment and then did not respond to calls.
