A video of a fight between ex-People’s Deputy Gennady Balashov and an investigator, which took place on August 16 at the Pechersky District Department of Internal Affairs, was published. The video was published by the Telegram-channel Politics of the Country.

The footage of the video shows how, during the arrest, Balashov tried to push the police officers away from him. As a result, the investigator fell to the floor.

Then the investigator tried to knock Balashov to the ground for detention.

Another officer of the Pechersky District Department of Internal Affairs came to the aid of the investigator, and the two of them tried to detain Balashov, who had previously been accused of attacking the investigator.
