“There is unequal treatment”: Parisian restaurateurs demand more terraces

The summer terraces that had flourished in the streets of Paris in the summer of 2020 after the first confinement and in 2021 have been a major success. But after two seasons of tolerance, the City demanded that restaurateurs and bar managers respect its new regulations for displays and terraces (RET). To date, it has issued five times fewer authorizations than in the past. A serious brake which provokes the anger of professionals in the sector.
