JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan claim all Law Law (UU) Create Work that has been approved by the DPR RI will not harm the people.
“Nothing inside all Law which is detrimental to the people, both environmental issues. That Mrs. Siti (Minister of LHK) is an environmental expert. So we have never deceived or damaged the people’s trust in us, “said Luhut in a virtual show, Tuesday (6/10/2020).
Luhut denied the notion of work and approval Work Creation Act done discreetly and not transparently.
“It is not true that this was (done) secretly, everyone was invited,” said Luhut.
Luhut admitted that he had spoken to labor representatives during the work Work Creation Bill which has now been approved by the DPR RI.
“I talked to the Minister of Manpower, Mrs. Ida Fauziah many times. I also talked to several workers, we will not make things bad for the workers,” admitted Luhut.
Luhut also said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had met with trade union leaders at the Presidential Palace, when all Law to be confirmed.
