There is no life on Mars – organics do not belong to aliens

The molecules are synthesized during the interaction between water and rocks that took place on the Red Planet around 4 billion years ago.

Organic compounds are usually associated with life, although they can also be created by non-biological processes, explains Phys.

A meteorite called Allan Hills (ALH) 84001 was discovered in Antarctica in 1984 and is considered one of the oldest known shellsthat reached Earth from Mars.

For years, scientists have debated the history of the origin of the organic carbon found in it, and finally found out the truth.

Organic molecules have been found in other Martian meteorites as well as Mars rover Curiosity.

According to scientists, this indicates that abiotic, or non-biological synthesis organic molecules have been part of Martian geochemistry for most of history.

Recall that earlier scientists said that decades of exploration of the Red Planet by unmanned probes can pay off in 20 years, proving presence of life on Mars.
